e-GIF Management Committee Summary 14 August 2007

1. Trusted Computing and Digital Rights

The Committee:

  • agreed that the State Services Commissioner, working through the e-GIF Management Committee, should continue as steward of the TC/DRM Standards and Guidelines,
  • agreed that Archives New Zealand should be the custodian of the TC/DRM Standards and Guidelines,
  • agreed that the SSC and Archives New Zealand should implement these governance arrangements for the TC/DRM Standards and Guidelines on the basis set out in the paper to this Committee.

2. Meeting Schedule

The Committee:

  • agreed that the meetings should be held every two months from now onward.
  • agreed that each meeting should continue to be for three hours in length from 3:00 – 6:00pm.
  • agreed that the first or third Thursday of each month would be acceptable to all members.

3. Minutes and Matters Arising

The Committee:

  • agreed that the minutes should remain in their current length and basic form.
