Appendix B - Gender Code
This appendix contains the current sex Code List for the Gender element referred to in 6.1, 6.2 and 6.4.3.1. This Code List comes from section 2.4.1 of the Ministry of Health's Health Practitioner Index (HPI) - Code Set HISO 10006. Exchanging parties should use the latest list available, agreed by the parties.
