Future Enhancements
As the network and service offerings mature, the Government Shared Network will extend the portfolio of services. The aim is to encompass network-based services, which support needs that are common across agencies.
Design and development of new enhancements are not within the GSN current scope. However, once the core products have been introduced, the GSN Programme will have an active product development stream. The scope of that development stream will reflect agency demand and assessment of value.
Proposed enhancements will require the development of
a business case and Cabinet approval.
