2 Recommendations

The S.E.E. Team recommends that the S.E.E. Steering Group:

2.1.1 Agree that the S.E.E. PKI Team should report to the S.E.E. Steering Group for all operational and governance matters.

2.1.2 Note that the S.E.E. PKI Team has established a PKI consultancy group of interested parties across government and the private sector, and has consulted this group on Decision papers 1, 2 and 3.

2.1.3 Agree that the SSC's E-government unit should manage the accreditation of CAs for S.E.E. PKI on behalf of the S.E.E. Steering Group.

2.1.4 Agree that government agencies wishing to run their own S.E.E. PKI CA will also be required to have their CA operations accredited.

2.1.5 Direct the S.E.E. PKI team to develop an accreditation framework for CAs.
