5.1 Introduction
82. From time to time the Crown will alter, amend, change or vary the Accreditation requirements, to reflect changes in standards, or to incorporate lessons learnt into the requirements.
5.2 Notice of change of Accreditation Criteria
83. The Crown will give notice to Accredited Parties and Participating Agencies in advance of a proposed amendment or variation to the Accreditation Process in accordance with the notice provisions detailed in the Accreditation Process document.
84. The notice will give details of the proposed Accreditation process, relating to the change of requirements.
5.3 Withdrawal of Accreditation
85. Accredited Parties will ensure that Accredited Software supplied by them will comply with the new requirements at the time they come into force. If the Party has not demonstrated that the Accredited Software complies with the new requirements, then the Accreditation will be withdrawn at 11:59:59 p.m. on the day immediately prior to the new requirements coming into force.
5.4 Accreditation Process Plan
86. The Party will re-Accredit against the new criteria. The SEEMail manager will provide sets of Test Digital Certificates and test addresses as necessary for testing.
5.5 Initial interoperability demonstration by vendor
87. The Party will demonstrate that the software product being tested can be configured to conform to the "S.E.E. Mail Business and Technical Requirements" by operating with and performing tests provided by an automated SEEMail gateway provided for the purpose.
88. The new requirements will be provided to the Party along with a revised set of "S.E.E. Mail Tests".
5.6 Interim Accreditation
89. Applicants perform testing against the S.E.E. Mail Automated Reference Test System (SMARTS). Successful completion of the Produuct Accreditation testing (currently 51 tests) will result in the software product being granted Interim Product Accreditation.
90. Test results will remain available on the SMARTS server until the initiation of the subsequent round of product testing but that vendor. The results are publicly viewable.
91. Interim Accreditation will not be granted if interoperability is not demonstrated.
92. Interim accreditation gives the Party the right to market the product to Eligible Agencies under the direction of the Crown's representative.
5.7 Full Accreditation
93. The Applicant will demonstrate that the software product being tested can interoperate with all other Participating Agencies when configured to meet the "S.E.E. Mail Business and Technical Requirements". The applicant will also demonstrate that in doing so the software fulfils the requirements as implemented in the S.E.E. Mail SMARTS Site Certification Tests . Currently these tests comprise a 31 test subset of the Product Accreditation tests
94. Successful completion of the site SMARTS testing will result in the the site being granted Site Certification. On the successful start-up of its first operational SEEMail gateway the product will be given Full Product Accreditation.
