4.1 Pre-S.E.E. Mail

4.1.1 Ensure in-house procedures are in place for handling IN CONFIDENCE and SENSITIVE information, consistent with the Security In Government Department's manual (SIGD), http://www.security.govt.nz/sigd/

4.1.2 Be familiar with S.E.E. Mail and understand your obligations, http://www.see.govt.nz/mail/

4.1.3 Arrange for provision of an Accredited Product from an Accredited Vendor, http://www.e-government.govt.nz/see/mail/vendors.html

4.1.4 Prepare a business case for management approval (template business case available from S.E.E. Manager)

4.1.5 Request to become part of S.E.E. Mail to the S.E.E. Manager

4.2 Purchasing

4.2.1 Check the prices paid by other Participating Agencies

4.2.2 Review the contract / Amend / Sign

4.2.3 Make the pricing information available to other Participating Agencies or Eligible Agencies, upon request

4.3 Site Certification

4.3.1 Perform and pass interim site certification

4.3.2 Perform and pass full site certification

4.4 On-going Operational Work

4.4.1 Maintain site security

4.4.2 Maintain site certification

4.4.3 Participate on S.E.E. Mail Working Group
