Back to the future - revising the EGU portal architecture
The revised New Zealand Government portal is now operational. Since it was designed, however, both the conceptual thinking and the practical implementations of the architecture have moved on extensively from the original concepts. The purpose of this document is to explore the future directions for the portal in the light of this new information, and to evaluate some of the options in the context of the e-government strategy. This paper is intended as a discussion document only, requiring both financial costings and policy direction before any of the proposed projects can be undertaken.
