The Authentication project team visited various federal and local government agencies in Australia during August 2002, and Singapore, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Canada during the 2½-week period ending Friday, 18 October 2002. Discussions were held on agencies experiences with the various methods they have adopted or are considering adopting to verify whom they are dealing with when conducting electronic transactions.
