Brainstorm on broadband: TUANZ National Broadband Applications Project
September 2002
The search is on for innovative and inspirational ways to make the most of high-speed Internet.
Government, health and education are among 10 sectors being put under the microscope at the visionary National Broadband Applications Project a three-day brainstorm on broadband being organised by TUANZ (the Telecommunications Users Association of New Zealand) and starting on Sunday 3 November in Nelson.
Broadband has been identified as a key enabler of New Zealands economic and social growth; this pioneering event will establish how can it be used to best serve the New Zealand economy. Afterwards a book will be published to showcase ideas.
TUANZ Chairman Judith Speight said: This initiative will provide the impetus to drive us as a country to think creatively and passionately about applications in the new economy; to develop innovative applications of high-speed Internet to regional and national competitive advantage; to come up with the advances that are really going to change the way we live our lives and the way we do our business.
The conference has a limited number of spaces available and applications are now being invited to be a part this milestone event. To register your expression of interest visit the TUANZ website, www.tuanz.org.nz.
Further information and application forms are available at www.tuanz.org.nz, or by contacting the TUANZ office on broadband@tuanz.org.nz.
